Foxlow - London

Went to Foxlow before it closed. The experience was a little different to some years ago, but the quality of the food hadn't dropped. The devilled mushrooms made a great starter, the chicken waffle burger was needed to be eaten after seeing it going to another table, and the sunday roast was just right.

Go, go, go... this is Foxlow’s last week. Delicious steak, great wine, tasty starters, scrummy puddings... what’s not to like... especially when you add in charming staff!

Five of us had a lovely lunch today fresh salad with meet cooked perfectly medium to rare; friendly and helpful waitress who was always on sight to help with enquires. A bit noisy as everyone in the room wished to make a point I suppose, overall a great experience. Thanks!

When they drive down the st john street in farringdon, they can easily flash and miss foxlow. what looks like a hole in the wall from outside is a charming and cozy atmosphere in the inner. a British menu with a beautiful selection of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. Too much salt everywhere! kicked with the damaging snack and it was just an annoying amount of saltiness that hit my tastebuds. then the fried chicken came, that was quite good and very crispy, but the meat was still juicy. salt and pfeffersquid had a crispy teig coating and aioli. I ordered the sirloin steak and asked for medium rare, got instead a medium steak. it was tender. the steak of my friend was very medium. this came with some mushrooms, pfeffer and a bit of grass salate. again, too salty.
