Al Forno - London

What a disappointmentA pizza suffocated in low quality, salty cheese, with capers making an unwelcome contribution.

I believe this place changed it's name, but by looking at the pics this is the place I stopped in for a pie one late evening during my stay in

I am a big fan of Al Forno and have been several times before going to a concert at the O2 Shepherd's Bush. The staff is always very friendly, the food good and excellent value for money and then it is only 2 minutes walk from the concert place. Can only highly recommend.

Is this part of the Al Forno chain or is it a franchise? If so it does not compare to the other Al Forno restaurants. Food was ok but presentation was poor. It was empty and the tables were dirty. Considering it was not busy service is minimal, the button to call works but this takes away from the experience there is no quality check and no up-selling took place. For that reason value for money is poor although not really expensive. A few people allowed of the street to sit and smoke not sure if anything was ordered this gives it a low end feel. Not as portrayed on your website.

The service at this restaurant is excellent and they really make you feel welcomed. Their hospitality is top-notch, I would highly recommend it to anyone.
