I'll preface this with I've been coming here since the 90s. Now that I have kids of my own, id figure we would go back to check it out. The mozzarella sticks are average and the marinara sauce is homemade using tomato chunks with no spice. It's just not what marinara is. The ranch is very plain. I wish this type of diner could make their own dressings because that is the type of stuff you look forward to in a family diner. The soup was average. The service was subpar, our server was busy but when our final guest did arrive his drink order was not taken until we requested it after she took his food order. The timing of his arrival was not ideal in between her moving of orders but that wasn't a problem at all. I think the flow of the restaurant affects the server's abilities. They're lacking a key member of staff. One person is doing host and bus. The only redeeming quality to this experience was the bowling alley next door. Nothing stood out and the cherry pie was dry and unloved by the baker. I don't go back to meh places and I love little diners so this was disappointing.

The restaurant was clean, and the food appeared to be fresh, though it likely would have been better if my order had been correct. On the downside, the background music was off-putting, playing through subpar speakers, and the server’s attempts at stand-up comedy felt unnecessary given that he got my order wrong in two different ways. When I pointed out the mistakes, he shrugged them off, claiming he must have hit the wrong buttons. I requested fries with my meal but received fruit instead. I also asked for a sandwich without two specific ingredients, but it came missing three ingredients, including cheese. The lettuce was the pale variety of iceberg, which lacked nutritional value. Overall, the price of the meal was unjustified given the quality and execution.
