The scallop crudo was exceptional. I'm pretty sure we chatted with the owner on our way out, and he seemed like a great guy.

I recently dined at a bistro and was lucky enough to snag a seat at the bar, even though the restaurant was fully booked. It seems that the place has just reopened after a change in ownership over the past few months. It's a chef/owner establishment, which I always appreciate. The cocktails were unique and absolutely delicious. I also ordered the steak frites, and it was fantastic. If you're in Livingston, MT, be sure to add this spot to your list!

I recently dined at 2nd Street Bistro with my family, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff were exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. The menu is a testament to culinary artistry. We started with the French onion soup, which was rich and perfectly seasoned. For the main course, my wife and I had the steak frites, which were cooked to perfection, while our daughter enjoyed the halibut, which was flaky and tender. Our portions were generous and beautifully presented. Our daughter loved the chocolate mousse for dessert—it was decadent and smooth, a perfect ending to our meal. The extensive wine list had excellent recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. 2nd Street Bistro stands out for its exceptional food, stellar service, and inviting ambiance. Whether for a special occasion or a casual night out, this restaurant delivers a memorable and satisfying experience. Highly recommended!

The reopening of 2nd Street Bistro, under the new ownership of Jessi and Chef Robert Perdan, should be heralded as a success by any and all measures. An updated interior space that retains the old world charm of its predecessor, while looking neat and tidy, foreshadows the menu and it's execution, and the accompanying table and bar service. I could wax poetic about the experience and sprinkle superlatives to no end about our revisit, which was awaited with great anticipation. But instead, I trust the reader to make their own conclusions, and to that end, offer the following guidance: make a reservation, order anything from the menu, and be happy. You are in good hands, with good people. Bob and Jessi, thank you for bringing another bright spot to Southern Montana. We will see you again soon!
