Vinea - Liverpool

Vinea, located at the Albert Dock, is a unique wine shop and deli that offers a fantastic variety of artisan cheese, bread, and olives. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful setting, with a spacious dining area on one side and a cozy bar with sofas on the other. There are doors at the back that open up to a view of the Albert Dock, managed by the husband and wife team James and Karen McGrory. Vinea, which means "vineyard" in Latin, has a long history. The restaurant has become so popular that it can be difficult to secure a table without a reservation. Luckily, we were able to get a table for four with a view of the docks. We ordered a selection from the tapas menu, including prawns.

The restaurant has a small but diverse beer selection and an impressive wine list. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Although I didn't have a meal, everything I saw looked beautifully presented, especially the charcuterie.
