Rocket And Ruby - Liverpool

Tonight we went to R for the fourth time. On a Tuesday they have Ruby Tuesdays deal with three small plates and a bottle of wine per person for twenty quid. If you are not going along then you are insane in the membrane.

I visited here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated straight away and given menus.

Lunch menu £20 each.We had the three plates each plus bottle of wine and 2 beers. Non alcoholic drinks also available.

This stop will treat you well. Here on a business lunch or a stop from site seeing, it will be a good experience. Lite foods and tea, or a bigger meal you’ll be pleased here. Reasonable prices and friendly people as well as a nice patio when the weather permits.

Popped in as this was a regular place for us years ago and it has gone very up market. Emma our waitress was very attentive and very kind to our daughter. Nothing was too much trouble and we made a small change from chicken Mac and cheese to chicken and chips. Thanks Emma! The food was magnificent for a lunch time and we will definitely return in the not too distant future. I'm sure this will be a regular eatery for us when we meet for lunch. The tapas was excellent and big portions, 3 plates easily fed 2 of us.
