Contribuiți la feedbackLoved everything about Lizzys little kitchen. We had breakfast which was really super, all the team here are so friendly were so kind. The owner sat with us for a few minutes is fab!! Looking forward to our next visit
Ate the best pancakes ever this morning in Lizzys. We were very impressed with the service and lovely courtyard eating area. All breakfasts looked great there.
I’ve been here three times now. I visit each time I am over from New York. The food is consistently delicious. I highly recommend the curry chicken and the seafood chowder with brown bread. Very cute, small spot with healthy and vegan options.
I booked one night a Saturday 20 th May.I was in Listowel for a family reunion.I arrived at 2.30/ 3 very nice young man took my bag up three flights of stairs which in itself is not the greatest .Anyway the single room they gave me was very small and pokey .Not the worst but you could see it was very dated .Ok I go to take a shower in the ensuite (tiny) no hot water .A very nice gentleman very apologetic said the boiler had gone .He showed me down two flights to a communal shower .I understand these things happen. When I eventually came back later that night I was horrified by the mattress on a small single bed .Springs could be felt through the mattress I mean it was awful I barely slept. I don't usually complain at all but no one said anything about breakfast and I had no tea or coffee or water nothing in my room. I looked into another one of the rooms when it was empty and they had all the facilities in their room.I just feel for 70 euro no breakfast nothing it was dreadful . I ended up having breakfast at the hotel. Not great at all. Mary
I was passing through Listowel when I thought I would treat myself to a nice breakfast as recommended by tripadvisor. I 've never, ever sent food back. I ordered poached eggs with bacon on gf toast and sent it back, when the owner Lizzy came to me at my table, saying 'Poached eggs are only soft if specified when ordering. They never put butter on their toast ' and when I prompted the question 'and do you normally only toast one side of your toast too? '. Needlessly to say it was a stern 'yes '. Finally, when I was queuing to pay for the food I 'd eaten, the waitress said 'did she not tell you? You don 't have to pay '. Such a cute cafe, were the outcome could of been different if it was managed differently.
