This restaurant received no stars, but the minimum rating on this review website is 2 stars. Yesterday, I was disappointed by the quality and portion size of the food. The extra small bowl, priced at $8.50, was only half full. This felt deceitful and unfair. It contained just 20 cents worth of white rice and 50 cents worth of cured carrots. The staff even laughed at me when I pointed out the issue with the portion size. The restaurant's focus on importing expensive ingredients from Byron Bay to Lismore only benefits the owner. The food was overly salty and the vegan cake was too expensive, priced at $8.00 for a single slice or $128 for an entire cake with 16 slices. This pricing is not fair for students or those experiencing homelessness.
What a delight! The introduction of this compassionate food option has arrived at just the right moment in life! Excellent dishes and a helpful staff to cater to your every need, ensuring top-notch customer service. Thank you.
I would not recommend this restaurant. The portion sizes were very small for the price. The bowl I ordered for $8.50 was only half full, which was disappointing. The prices for simple items like rice and carrots seemed inflated. The staff seemed to find it amusing when I pointed out the small portion size. The food was also overly salty. The vegan cake was also very expensive, with each slice costing $8.00, totaling $128 for the whole cake. Overall, the prices are too high for what is offered, making it difficult for students or those on a budget to afford a meal here.
This restaurant review is disappointing. Even though the minimum rating on this site is 2 stars, I would give it none. I was disgusted by the quality and portion size of my meal yesterday. I paid $8.50 for an extra small bowl that was only half full. It felt like a rip-off. I should have rejected it. The amount of 20 cents worth of white rice and 50 cents worth of curried carrots was laughable. When I pointed out the bowl was only half-filled, the staff actually chuckled. Bringing upscale customs to a working-class town like Lismore doesn't benefit anyone except the owner. Additionally, the food was overly salty, and the vegan cake was too expensive at $8.00 per slice, totaling $128 for a whole cake. This pricing is not affordable for students or homeless individuals.
