Unfortunately, I think that the restaurants are a bit too chainy and not for real gourmants or those looking for unique culinary experiences. after a painful consultation, which restaurant we should visit (it was a sort of choice between average and average), we settled in tertulia do tejo. the employees were very striving to sit and help us, but their enthusiasm was abandoned by their lack of experience. we were served by a young waiter who as lacking in quite a lot of skills, but he was kind enough so that everything forgives. I had the Picanha steak and the fries that came with him were cold. however, the restaurant was fast in serving hotter pommes without difficulty. overall our experience was very average here.
So I and my men wanted to find somewhere along the river that had great seafood. harder to find than they think. this place was sensational. I had the tiger garnel in peri peri starter than my head, it was perfect, so fresh and...big taste. my man had sardines and was not disappointed. the sight was great, with view of the river, the bridge and the christus statue all within a marina stop. I'm hard to like when it comes to eating, but would recommend this place. my only little nigger (for whom I did not mark) is that you can hear a constant blank of the bridge traffic. it's not loud enough to ruin their experience and they can still chat without raising their vote easily, so no big thing at all. the cost of dishes and sangria amounted to eur. not too expensive and totally worth it if they don't want to eat waste that only the tourist would eat because they don't know what they get themselves!
It rained on our guided tour through lissabon, so we waited to return to the harbour area, there were numerous restaurants at the sea near the boat. this has very few customers, while others were pretty busy, again possibly due. to menu problems. I had groupers and the woman laughs. our Hungarian waitress was hard to understand, but very funny. this is the first place where we were presented green: wee our green wine choice was great. beautiful meal, and a bottle of wine for euros, plus a great view of the cruise ship and harbour area while we are dined.
Next to a small marina close to the Ponte de Abril (the fake golde gate bridge), you will find a boardwalk with a long line of restaurants. One of them is Tertulia do Tejo. We had dinner at the place during a trip to...Lisbon in June The menu offers a variety of portuguese food dishes based on the ubiquitous codfish but also Salmon, Grouper, Snapper and others. You can also order a greater variety of fish and crabs by the pound. We had codfish rice and grilled salmon along with a bottle of the house red. Both the meals and the wines were tasty and even though not cheap, relatively affordable. The two girls serving us were friendly, attentive and always up for a joke. The location is scenic but a bit noisy due to the traffic on the bridge.
Underneath the April Bridge on the Alcantra Dock, this restaurant was quiet when others located close by were crowded. I can't understand why unless it was the lack of a translated menu because the food was great and service was good. We...took the recommendation of the catch of the day: douradas (sea bream). Wouldn't hesitate to recommended for a relaxed good meal.
