Tavole E Favole - LIPARI

Me and three friends of mine were at that restaurant at the end of june 2017 . First, we must to wait 15 minutes somebody to come and ask us if we want something for drink or eat. I ordered a sallad caprese and I must to wait half an hour for my sallad. But when I received it it was not a typical italian caprese salad. The salad was mixed with iceberg, and with 2 baby domatoes and a piece of mozarella and the sallad cost 7,50 euro. Too much for that!!! My friend pizza was served also after 40 minutes. Her girlfriend order also pizza. They served her a cold pizza that was made before?!!! The restaurant did not serve a good, tasty pizza we have not liked it. Finally, they charged us per 1,50 for cuverto or 6 euro more. In the menu there are nothing about that cuverto . We ask the boss for that cuverto and her behaviour to us were very unpolitely and rude.

The host really rocks. Food is very nice, simple but good. We will be back for more! Try the pizzas.

This is one of the very few times I write a review even if I was not able to enjoy the lunch in the place. In a very hot day of August I can imagine that can be stressful to run a business in crowded place but I can't accept the owner's behavior who throws chairs calling names at his waiter and act as he was doing a favor to his (potential) customers. After 5 minutes of incomprehensible show we left. Try with the circus!

Found by chance during our sailing trip over Aeolian Islands and we repeated our visit. Delicious food and great wine, very pleasant environment. Only the service is a bit slow however this really does not matter if you are on holiday down in the south of Italy : . We will come back again.
