Beautiful service, very good food, fair prices and attention to real customer satisfaction at each series. only to improve articles? the reservations that take and manage the process. simply, both the house and its customers would benefit from a multilingual customer-driven web reso service. To be...safe when we came through a real living person, the table was booked and we were warmly welcomed. and no anglophones should be intimidated by the love of the English menus: their server will do their best (which is pretty good) in answering their asking. a small, intimate place like chez mimi must manage his bookings. fasten the piece, and everything will be good in this precious stone.
Visited this evening and had a fantastic meal supported by magnificent service. I would strongly recommend it.
I tried to go last year, failed, desperate, trying to be there and wow what a tasty bite. great atmosphere, great personal even better eating. surely one of the best meals we've ever had. the wee were cheap and well kept, we were treated. to a free beer, problem was that we didn't remember what it was called when it was really good. write it next time.
The Sherrif's Lady and I picked this out from Tripadvisor reviews while on a weekend visit to Limoges. It is in the opposite direction to all the obvious tourist spots and in a rather unpromising part of town. Nevertheless it is still only about 10...minutes walk from the Place de la Republique. The food and wine were truly excellent and the service was outstandingly friendly. As other reviewers have commented, there isn't much English spoken and this is really a neighbourhood brasserie. However, the staff are so keen to welcome guests that communication is not a big problem as long as you can manage some fairly basic menu French. It is a small place and got quite full on a midweek night when we were there so it is probably worth phoning to book ahead.
