Tulivee - Liimala

We had a great time at this restaurant, enjoying delicious food and Christopher's skilled and witty service. We look forward to visiting again soon, as it offers a wonderful blend of a gorgeous seaside location and excellent dining.

I ordered scallops, fish tacos, and cheesecake. The scallops were good, but I found the combination of flavors on the plate a bit confusing. However, each individual item was of high quality and delicious. I also enjoyed the fish tacos, though I would have preferred a sauce that was less sweet – perhaps a sweet and sour or sweet and spicy option would be better. The salads (root and carrot) and potatoes were good, but nothing exceptional. I think adding some acidity to the salads would make them more flavorful. Unfortunately, the cheesecake was a letdown. When I visited this place two months ago, it was the best cheesecake I had ever tasted. This time, I was expecting the same incredible taste and lightness, but instead, I got a cookie-like crust with a thick layer of butter on top (or at least that's what it tasted like). While it was sweet, it was heavy and lacked the deliciousness I was hoping for. When we mentioned this to the waiter to try to understand what happened, he mentioned that it could have been the work of a different chef (as they had four different chefs). Unfortunately, this time I was out of luck.

Highly recommended! This restaurant was a pleasant surprise with well-crafted dishes that are almost gourmet quality. The staff is friendly and the menu offers a nice variety. I suggest starting with the white fish tartare and then trying either the fish or steak for the main course. The establishment also appears to be a great choice for a team meeting or client event.

The food was very good, we had meat and fish and a cheesecake dessert, but: the dessert we actually wanted was so disappointing. the location is as beautiful as possible, the restaurant is directly on the beach and offers wonderful sunsets. Unfortunately, the noise level was terrible due to the space concept and numerous families with small children. I have children myself, but would never come to such a restaurant with children. I would have liked to enjoy the beautiful environment in a peaceful atmosphere that enjoys a glass wein, but it was impossible so that we literally had to escape badly!

Price/quality excellent. You can gat a local beer. One brewery is across the river few...km to go. (Small charming Castle too). Quiet, sunrise, sunset, seashore right behind your hotel open window. That's memorable.. .“
