Kukui's On Kalapaki Beach - Lihue

This restaurant serves the best breakfast! During our stay at the estate, our favorite meal was breakfast. The loco moco, roasted rice omelet, and crispy hash browns were all delicious and portion sizes were large enough to share. Our server was incredibly sweet and energetic. Highly recommended for a satisfying breakfast!

This morning, we enjoyed a breakfast buffet that was quite good, particularly the omelette station. While a bit pricey, we found it to be a great value considering the location and the fact that it was an all-you-can-eat buffet. The food was of high quality and we were satisfied with our choice.

We have dined at Kukui several times. The food is consistently amazing and the service is always excellent! The tempura appetizer is a favorite and the Mai Tais are delicious!

Definitely recommend breakfast at this place. Acai bowl and avocado toast were amazingly delicious, perhaps the best I have ever had. Eggs were ok. Excellent service at breakfast. Lunches and dinners are ok at best though. tasty but overpriced compared to others in the same category. They serve food in a box for an on-site dinner probably due to covid. In-room dinner worked out better than on-site dinner at this place.

Great location with pool side bar. Priced a little high but it has to be because it’s located on a resort. Drinks are awesome. Fried chicken wings are super yummy but you get 4 for $15. My bars girls tonight were super sweet and wonderful. My Mai Tai’s were more than just juice like most places.
