Daddy O's - Lihue

Wow! Wow! From the best-filled French toast ever to the incredibly tasty filled crab eggs benedict, the fantastic French toast plate, and some of the fastest, friendliest, and most efficient service, Papa Os delivers and then some. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you - Papa Os has some of the best dining and service on the island, with excellent dishes (especially for Kauai). I wish I could say I discovered this place, but I can't. Parking is easy, and it's conveniently located near the airport, so we can easily come back even if we're in a hurry. We're already making plans to return tonight!

I ordered the 2 egg breakfast with a side of spam and really enjoyed it. The roasted croissant with boiled chicken was also a tasty and satisfying choice.

The restaurant offered excellent and efficient service. The staff was outstanding. The food was delicious and made me feel like I was dining in someone's home. The shortbread cookies were the best I've ever had; they disappear quickly. I would recommend avoiding the spicy chicken on the menu.

Our server, cinema, has brought us to a real ono loop at daddy o’s in lihue! ube pfannkuchen almost let me slide from my chair, then fried huhn, loco moco(mini), and stuffed garnelen benedict. And then we had to get a banged UBE pancakes because they changed your life! got to, dress up so!

Absolute fan! This is a MUST try on Kaua'i! Local families and tourists alike find their happy place here. Captain Harry, the owner, is a Vietnam Veteran and really brings the elements of Wala'au Ohana to this family-owned and -ran restaurant. The food is on point and the customer service is the best on Kaua'i! We heard that Harry and family are working on a new dessert that might have tasted REALLY ono, but you'll have to go yourself to check it out... Dickie Chang approved Daddy O's Restaurant!
