Oscar Lee's Barbeque - Libertyville

Large barbecue in Libertyville. Brisket was moist and tasteful with a simple rub and large bark. Get some burned ends. Hot links are a Texas thing and Oscar Lee's are on point. Spicy, but not an excessive HOT! Also tested the smoked turkey and ribs. Good! Had not the pulled pig, but if the quality and taste of the remaining menu is any indicator, it must also be good. Prices are not inappropriate. Go and have great Q, good drinks and fun.

My brother and I just stopped at noon and can say that the food, the atmosphere and the staff are the top calls. We had brisket and turkey sandwiches and pommes. Excellent, highly recommended and will definitely be back soon.

Brisket pulled pig were both brilliant; great taste several sauce choices. Many serve bottles of coke to boot! We'll be back. Great addition to the community.

Absolutely tasty are their ribs to die. Everything on their menu is excellent. Can't go wrong!!!

Great food and cocktails in a friendly atmosphere! Libertyville is lucky to have a fun new place like this. We will go again and again.
