I'm not sure if they were short-staffed, but the wait time between drinks, food, dessert, and check was very long. I believe they could increase their profit and accommodate more reservations if they were faster with their service. The decor was lovely, but some of the seating options were not comfortable. My son and I were seated in a high traffic area which made the experience a bit frustrating. Our reservation was for 7:30pm, but we weren't seated until almost 10pm due to slow service. I ordered the prime rib and it was very fatty. I informed the staff and they offered to remake it, but my son's 8oz steak was delicious. He's a picky eater. The au gratin potatoes were tasty, but the lobster bisque was thin and lacked flavor. I wouldn't recommend the appetizers. The "Pop Me Sichel" vodka drink was excellent and beautifully presented. When it was time to leave, I asked for our leftovers to be packed up but they were never brought back to us. I understand that the staff may have been overwhelmed. Overall, the service was lacking, the layout could be improved, but the appearance of the restaurant was nice. They need to reevaluate their table placements and perhaps hire a better chef for the meat dishes. The staff were friendly from the hostess to the manager. The dining experience was okay, but not great. With some adjustments, they have the potential to provide an exceptional culinary experience. I wouldn't recommend them until these changes are made. If they invest in their service and food quality, it could be worth trying.
So much fun! filet and sides were excellent. dessert was really something special and the smoked cocktail was a cool experience. will definitely be back to try some other apps and dishes.
Our server Evelyn provided excellent service during our meal, attending to our needs and being very helpful throughout. The ambiance of the restaurant was intense, with loud noise levels and a busy staff constantly running around. The crowded layout of tables left limited space for the staff to maneuver, resulting in a close call with an overflowing trash can at one point. The decor was described as chaotic, with bright lights and a lack of cohesive theme, giving off a vibe that was likened to a mix of Affliction and the Renaissance festival on steroids. Although the food was good, it was deemed overpriced, with a total bill of $300 for one steak, three sides, a sea bass dish, an appetizer, and two alcoholic drinks. The portions were generous, but the overall experience did not match the high price tag. Despite the excellent service, the chaotic ambiance and high prices may deter them from returning in the future.
