Joella's Hot Chicken - Lexington

Jumbo's chicken tenders may not actually be "jumbo" in size, but they are still delicious. The prices for the tenders may be a bit high considering their regular size. The portion sizes overall were good. We particularly enjoyed the kale crunch salad and the Bama White dipping sauce. The decor is interesting, resembling a corporate restaurant trying to recreate a dive bar atmosphere while maintaining an upscale feel.

I really enjoy this restaurant, however, they seem to be a bit disorganized. The last three times I have visited in the past month and a half, the ice machine has been out of order. When the chicken is fresh, it's delicious. Unfortunately, there have been occasions where I've received dry chicken that is difficult to eat. I hope they can improve and maintain consistency with the help of corporate support. The newer locations I have visited do not seem to have the same problems.

The food at this restaurant was enjoyable, but not outstanding. If you're in the mood for some spicy chicken, this place will satisfy your craving. The chicken and waffles were delicious and I would order them again. However, my kids didn't think the mac and cheese was very good - they are experts in that department so I trust their opinion. The parmesan fries were tasty, but a little greasy.

This fantastic sandwich was exactly what I've been craving! Sandwich was perfectly cooked tender and juicy. I ordered it hot and it came loaded with pickles that made for a perfect pairing. Service was quick, friendly and professional. The interior wasclean and well maintained.

5 stars definitely go towards staff! Was welcomed with amazing energy the food was beyond delicious!!! So glad we found this little gem passing through Lexington. Food came out fast quick, chicken was fried to perfection, mac cheese was great thegreens were GOOD!!! Will definitely come back here when we do pass through again! Thanks for making our experience a goodone????
