Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse Lexington

Every once in awhile it's nice to treat yourself to something special. The dining experience at Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse was indeed something special. We were catered too the entire evening. The staff seems to anticipate all your needs before you ask. The food....ah the food. Simply incredible. We had the salmon and the porkchop and they were cooked perfectly. The sides are ala cart so you get exactly what you want. It was a wonderful experience, albeit an expensive one for us, but well worth it.

I don't know what to say about this place! Wow! It's like a mansion house but also a restaurant and bar! It's so fancy and they've got every type of food on their menus. They've also got so many kinds of wine, beer, liquor and whatever else there is to drink I'm sure they've got it! It's a few extra bucks to go here tho. They gave us a tour and a menu before they opened and those prices were a lot more than I've ever seen, but I've never been anywhere like this!

Everything was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, drinks were mixed well and sides were big enough to share. Service was on point and everyone was accommodating and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful venue. Very upscale prices, however there were people dining wearing jeans and hoodies. We went expecting a fine dining experience which we did enjoy, but the fact that there's not a dress code enforced took away from the ambiance. Everything is A La Carte. And I do mean EVERYTHING. If you order the shrimp cocktail, it's $8 per shrimp. But the sides are definitely sharable. If we had known that, we wouldn't have ordered so much. I feel our waiter or his assistant could have told us this, but then again maybe that's the point to get you to spend more money. The food was delicious, but it's not someplace I would go to on a regular basis.

Filet was hard boiled, kartoffeln anna was bland and mac n’ cheese a bit burned. server was a bit inconspicuous and totally uninterested in my partner and I thank you for the sa that accompanied her but was beautiful.
