Clay Oven Indian - Lexington

An upscale place in Lexington. I got to know about clay oven through seated app. I like the menu since we had a good variety of vegetarian options and some with a hint of fusion. We ordered pav bhajji bruschetta and mango avocado chaat as appetizers. We also got a few drinks. The pav bhajji bruschetta came as pav bhajji (no twist). Yet tasted good. So did mango avocado chaat. It was fresh and that's kind of a must. We also ordered lichie paneer. I have only one feedback for that when there is a fruit so sweet in curry, I would have liked the curry itself to be nice and spicy. I didn't care a lot for the mildness with the sweetness. The bread was good along with the curry. Service was great. She was nice and prompt. We were seated outside on good weather day. So all in all had a good experience.

One of the best indian restaurant in Boston! Excellent service with personalized attention. Food is of course amazing. A few very unique preparations on the menu (paneer lychee; gobhi gulistan etc). We also had grilled chicken with black pepper and it was delicious. Additionally, they have missi roti as one of the breads servings. Lastly, Gajar halwa trifle was very delicious. Highly recommended.

Fabulous food and service and lovely seating outside. We had the Dahi Chaat papdi appetizer which was well made. The complimentary papad was also delish. We got lychee paneer and almond naan both of which were fantastic. For the non alcoholic drink I highly recommend mango mojito. We will definitely be coming again.

Good flavors, good device, nice outdoor patio (6 or so tables with umbrellas). We enjoyed it. Korma lamb and lamb kebab, spinach and cheese rolls.

Ordered delivery from Clay Oven today. The Pav bhai, Samosa and Mutton curry were really good. The mutton tasted almost like how it tastes back home in India. However, the butter chicken was very disappointing. The chicken had a very off taste and didn't taste right. The curry itself was also very ok. Will definitely give them a chance again though.
