I had a wonderful three-course Christmas lunch at this restaurant on Christmas Day. The staff were all in a festive mood, the food was of great quality and delicious, and it was a relief not to have to cook. It was a delightful way to spend Christmas Day. Thank you to the entire team at the restaurant.

We have been coming to Blackheath every year or so for the past 20 years. We always start at The Railway, well it is right next door to the railway station. This year I booked the three course Festive Lunch for six of us last Friday. In the run up to the meal the staff were ever helpful and friendly when I had to make changes to the booking. On the day we a nice table with plenty of room. The staff would often pop by to make sure we weren't going thirsty. When the food arrived, from the stater to the desserts, we all agreed that was the best pub Christmas lunch we could remember. The food was freshly cooked and there was plenty of it. Wherever we go next year will have to meet a very high standard.
