Located next to a pub, this restaurant may not seem like much from the outside, but that is part of its charm. It has a UK version of a Caribbean style shack vibe, with decor and ambiance to match. It truly made me feel like I was in the Caribbean, despite being in Peacehaven. The only thing missing was the option to order a mini bottle of Mount Gay rum, some coke, and a bucket of ice. The drinks were good, sourced from the neighboring pub, and the owner server was friendly and accommodating in a Caribbean-style manner. The food was impressive, with a variety of starches including chips and well-prepared rice and peas. The chicken was tasty, and the goat curry was a standout dish. The only suggestion for improvement would be slightly better quality chicken. Overall, this restaurant is really good and deserves more customers. We will definitely be returning with our children.

I had a delightful meal at this restaurant during a weekday lunch. The Curry Goat, Rice, Peas, and Plantain were all perfectly cooked. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy, with reggae music playing in the background. The staff are attentive and friendly.

This new restaurant is run by a very friendly woman who is dedicated to providing an authentic Caribbean dining experience. We tried the jerk chicken, which was incredibly delicious, along with rice and peas. The French fries were tasty, and the plantain was prepared perfectly, adding a nice touch of sweetness. The service was excellent (the owner's three attentive daughters were a delight!), and I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable bill. I'm not sure if they allow BYOB, but they don't have a liquor license. You can buy drinks from the neighboring pub. Overall, this is a fantastic spot for high-quality food at a reasonable price. The portions are generous, making it a great choice for those with a hearty appetite. It's exactly the type of family-owned business that I love to support.

That was a great end for a long walk. get them a ticket, go up and get them their carousel and the drinks are ready at the table for when they return. good prices, great location and friendly staff. I recommend it.

We had a nice family dinner for a birthday party and the service of eileen was served definitiw with a smile and made the evening very pleasant. fantastic eating and would have great time from all. eileen was a star and made sure we had a great experience. will come back definitiw. Thank you.
