I'm really glad I finally made the effort to visit. All of the sandwiches are fantastic! They’re incredibly delicious! The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. I finally made it to the area and had this place on my must-try list. Wow! It has that classic mom-and-pop sandwich shop vibe that you crave. I ordered the half Godfather, and it was the most loaded and delicious sandwich I've ever had in the San Diego area—no contest. Their selection of root beer is also top-notch. You absolutely have to give this place a try!

This place is awesome. An old fashioned Grandma's home styled setting. So much down home style atmosphere. The people are so friendly and helpful. While I was outside taking pictures of the establishment, The older gentleman who made my sandwich actually came outside and handed me my order. I call the real personal service. I knew about this place for over 40 years, but never visited it until today 10/08/23. The security bars on the windows threw me off. It's a Gem in disguise. I wish I would have visited this place over 40 years ago.
