Oadby Owl - Leicester

We met up with family for a pre Xmas get together. We were there for hours, drinks/food/drinks. Olivia and her staff were great and looked after us throughout our time there. Excellent Xmas decorations and atmosphere. All of our food was great, Molly did a great job with our mix it up steaks, as did the rest of the kitchen. Yes, we are looking forward to our next visit already. I always like to emphasise that this pub is great value for what you pay.

Lovely place. Bar,Restaurant, pool tables. Nice coffee. Good Food. Welcoming Staff. Disable parking and facilities. Respectful to people with Learning difficulties. Wheelchair friendly.

Had a great family festive meal with all the family today ..a large group . 13 of us plus baby in a highchair … straightforward to book on the app and pre order our choices .. perfectly seated near a lovely Christmas tree with the table set with Christmas crackers when we arrived .. a great atmosphere , great value and lovely food (empty plates all round swift efficient service by Gracie Kush Megan and Cade which was spot on . Got us in the Festive all spirit . Thanks again . Thanks for all your hard work and thank you to all the kitchen for a great meal and the bar for their service too . Merry Christmas all

To be fair I was pleasantly surprised with the evening. The staff were great especially Gracie our waitress. Food was nice and for £30 for 3 mains and drinks you can't go wrong

My Wife and I visited The Oadby Owl on Sunday 26th Nov around 5pm to have a Sunday roast each, we both had Beef Roast Dinners, both of which were only just warm enough to eat, the beef on both dinners was so tuff that it was very difficult to cut with even a serated knife, there was hardly any gravy and all the vegetables had hardly any flavour, the whole luke warm meals were so bland that we only managed to eat them as we were so hungry, this was such a shame as we have left very good feedback on Tripadvisor in the past for the food we had at those times, but based on these recent meals we will not be returning for Sunday Dinners in the future
