Flame Kabob - Leesburg

The food is really very good. The bread is fantastic. The spicy lentils? Yum. The problem here is the wait. It can be long. Really long depending on how busy the place is and how many folks are working the kitchen. Maybe it's the fast food vibe of the place and then nothing is fast that's keeping me from giving them four stars.

I had ordered over the phone for a lunch I was having. I came to pick up the order and they completely got it wrong missing 3 of my orders. So I had to call the office I was having lunch at letting them know I would be late, meanwhile I thought they were making the order while I waited. Then I was asked do you want me to make it....um yes I have no other option. If you have a place to be with food call 3 times to be clear unless you have all the time in the world. The food was very tasty I do have to say.

I ordered a gyro (which I correctly pronounced as more like hero , but the young woman behind the counter felt compelled to tell me it 's pronounced gyro as in gyroscope). I 'm guessing this is not a Greek owned restaurant and maybe they don 't like Greeks. In that case, they shouldn 't serve Greek food or at least call the dish by the name used by their ethnic group. Overall the sandwich was good. The sauce on the sandwich seemed heavily mayonnaise based and had no particular spice. The other thing I noticed is that the shakers for spices were kind of sticky. I might come back if I 'm in the area, but there are many kabob type restaurants in NOVA that also serve gyro and falafel and are a bit cleaner.

Placed and order 30 minutes in advance. Went there to pick up and it was not ready. Waited 15 minutes for the food. Asked them for extra white sauce and they charged me the white sauce. I was annoyed as they never apologized for the food not to be ready on time and giving me 50% off but charging me $1 for the white sauce. Its not the matter of money but for the ethics. If it would have been Dominos they would have refunded the money as well as given the free pizza for the next time order. I nearly order every week and as the owner or the manager was not there they treted us like thrash. I would not recommend anyone to go over there and get no respect and apology for their mistake. Very disappointed and will not go over there but rather go to red kabab or any other place. I just saw and their quantity has been reduced too. Spicy Dal is half portion. They are going down and will loose the customers if their service is like this. Very disappointed.

The food is good but the service is horrible, and it has been consistently horrible. Whenever I have dined in it has taken too long to get the food. This last time I called in advance for a carry out order. I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived about 25 minutes after my call I was told it would be a few more minutes. That turned into a frustrating 40 minute wait inside the restaurant and the food was finally ready a little over 1 hour after I had called. I don't mind if you tell me up front that it will take 50 minutes and then take an hour, but don't tell people it will be 20 minutes and then take three times as long.
