Crooked Run Fermentation - Leesburg

My wife visited this small but fantastic brewery twice while I was in downtown Leesburg. It may look like a hidden gem, but the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, just like the other customers. They have an extensive beer tap selection and a large cooler filled with beer to take home. You can also purchase some cool merchandise like shirts and glasses. The open seating area has plenty of tables and chairs, making it a comfortable spot to relax. I appreciated how the bartender not only served customers but also collected empty glasses. If you're looking for a great atmosphere and delicious cold beer, this is the place to be!

One of the best local breweries! Need I say more? There are more seats outdoors than indoors, which is great. They offer a couple of beer taps and a few options for takeout as well!

The guy who switched the kegs and served at the bar was absolutely rude. My friends were just trying to enjoy their time when he bluntly told them they couldn't be there, claiming it was "his space." So they moved to the courtyard, where there were no signs indicating any restrictions, and he loudly announced that they couldn't be there either. Then a well-dressed young man passed by and said that the rude staff member was mistaken; they had a “banquet license” that allowed guests to sit anywhere. He even encouraged us to come back. That was definitely a no-go for me. I told the second guy that it wasn't about the message but rather the rudeness we experienced. As a visitor from the beer capital of the USA, I’d like to invite the owners in Asheville to learn what true hospitality means on their own premises.

I just went in this bar as a test which has limited hours , but let me tell you it doesn't. The bar will serve who they approve, and they disaprove of people who don't fit in. If I were Crooked Run I'd be more inclusive and welcoming. This bar is filled with a bunch of white people that only cater to other whites that they are only friends with. The hours are bullshit I know it. This bar is a if you are cool enough, you can enter and be served place. Would not recommend for that reason. What a waste. I've heard the bartenders talking **** about how gross old people look. YUCK. Do better. And be kinder. And stop putting lactose in everything, fucking gross. They used to employ bartenders that used roofies too.
