Good range of cakes and the coffee here is really good, definitely recommend the coffee. Coffee 5 stars. Food a little less as although it is tasty, it is a little over priced. I mostly just come here for the coffee. Made properly! Is has indoor and outdoor setting, which is really nice on a sunny day to just sit outside and chill. Discount for using reusable cups.
I recently visited with my Daughter and we both drink soy milk. To my surprise they charge 40p for soy which makes two latte's £6.40 a bit steep for a cup of coffee. We probably won't go back on this basis, especially given the amount of competition round the area. All the major coffee houses no longer charge for soy now (though I don't actually buy coffee from them), Caffe Nero used to but had to stop after being inundated with complaints. Given a carton of soy milk is 85p this is a bit much!
Coffee, made properly, is served by committed and charming staff. Definitely the best way to kick start your morning from that side of town!
Coffee ehre is great lots of attention paid to making sure they use good coffee and also make it to the best standards. The food is the main let down though nothing particularly special (in the past have had some quite dissapointing, bad tasting toasties) and very expensive. Small ~2x2 chocolate brownie comes in at £1.40. Staff can take a while too as the place is often understaffed.
So I'm probably being stupidly fussy, but if I order posh cheese on toast, or as was advertised a croque monsieur, I'm expecting it toasted through so all the cheese melts and certainly no cream cheese blobbed into the bottom of it. I wouldn't order that again. I did however really enjoy the flat white coffee and the bit of daal that my wife was eating. I'm willing to accept that the place is great, and I just ordered the wrong thing.
