We ordered early to avoid a rush, and it was collected and brought to us, The soup was hot and was nice as well as the spring rolls, the chow mein was a different tale altogether,just warm and the noodles tasted like they had been cooked in days old oil imparting a not nice taste, the salt and pepper chips had no pepper on them and boat loads of salt and looked like warm ups from the night before,so we’re unpalatable and they were lukewarm and that pair went in the bin, what a waste of food and money, and we got it 5 minutes after leaving the shop, to say I was disappointed is an under statement I won’t use them again, I hate leaving bad reviews but if food is not cooked fresh then it’s not good, and that wasn’t good at all….

Best Chinese! All the portions are very generous and tasty and delivered piping hot. Chicken Satay skewers are particularly amazing 4 large skewers and plenty of satay sauce. Sweet n sour chicken is amazing too. Not had one bad dish. Always our go to Chinese takeaway. Haven't found another takeaway/restaurant that comes close!

Gorgeous food, wide menu, exceptionally helpful staff. Anyone who likes Chinese cuisine would be well advised to eat here.

Called for lunch as we were collecting stuff from Laura Ashley nearby, and opted for the two course lunch menu at £6.95. Pancake rolls were hot, but quite bland. Chicken curry with fried rice 50p extra) was standard food with the cheap, disgusting, flavourless reconstituted chicken that I cannot believe anybody still uses typical curry sauce. Lady M's starter of courgettes was also flavourless she left most of it) but her vegetarian curry was much better.We were the only diners in a cold restaurant very lacking in atmosphere. Maybe it would be better on a warmer day with more diners, but it was not inspiring today. Our waitress was lovely, the food hot, but that's about where the positives end.Doubt if we would return, sorry.

It's really difficult to find a Chinese restaurant that can cater for Gluten intolerant people, so De Fresh stands out. The staff are well-informed about food allergies so it makes eating out or ordering a takeaway simple for us with a Coeliac disease sufferer in the family. The food is always tasty and freshly cooked, recommended for eat in or take home.
