Cafe Panne - Leeds

We had a wonderful breakfast at a charming cafe with a view of the river. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the atmosphere was just right. The full English breakfasts were delicious, with the only exception being the tinned tomatoes which were surprisingly tasty and a nice twist. The toast was lovely. One of us tried the full English in focaccia bread and it was also scrumptious. The coffees were excellent as well. Overall, highly recommended.

This is the best breakfast I have ever had! The staff is lovely and the location is perfect. The staff is very knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. There is plenty of seating, and I recommend sitting outside by the river if you can. I will definitely be returning next time I am in Leeds.

Brilliant xl breakfast I finished the lot well impressed with how it was cooked brilliant location and really nice eating breakfast looking out over the water.this was my first experience in this cafe but let me just say I will be back for another very soon.the inside of the cafe has been fitted out really well too looks very professional and to a high standard this makes me proud to be from Leeds. Well done to all the staff .all round 10/10 spot on

It’s nice to see this cafe still upholds its high standards. I visited last year and thought I’d return again whilst in Leeds so glad I did. Amazing breakfast yet again. Keep up the great work Riveresque

This was a very disappointing breakfast. After reading the reviews I expected much better. The issues were barely cooked white bread toast that was from the cheapest of loaves, beans that were very poor quality and were not cooked properly, eggs that were so underdone on one side they were still wet with white we were amazingly not asked how we wanted our eggs, I mean c'mon!! Heinz tomato ketchup bottles that definitely did not contain Heinz ketchup (this makes you feel like they think you are stupid and will believe it is). My partner reports the muchrooms were also grey and miserable. The tea was so weak and cheap that it might as well have been bought on a train. For £7.25 for a breakfast, this should be much better, let alone having to pay 10% extra to eat in in a cafe where the music is so loud you can't hear yourself think and the staff walk past you shouting at each other without any awareness of the terrible ambience they create. If your only task is cooking breakfasts, the least you can do is take care with your choice of ingredients and do a good job. This was careless, rushed and disappointing. We will not be back and could not recommend.
