Lally's Eastside - Le Mars

Lally has a beautiful little town charm. but the opening service on Saturday was bad. forgotten parts of the order and had to remind them. I've never checked, refilled, cleansed. the prices are fair, but it doesn't matter for the lacking, incarnable service. it is fat boy food blog approved, but how sad that I could just have gone to casey. for more than 25 minutes, the dirty bags have been sitting and if they finally brought us a scary one, we could ask for fillings. not excessively busy, but they can say who are masters and friends.

The macaroni salad was sweet and had sliced cheese in it. I don't do sweet macaroni salad but I would have eaten had it had cheddar cheese chunks in it instead. Because that would've cut some of the sweetness to it. The chicken was good It reminded me of my god father's smothered chicken. The only difference is his had gravy on his. The ribs were good it was just to much sauce for me. However when I order again I get lite sauce. One other thing I don't usually eat bread but their rolls where great! I ate it cold and it was still great and that's a plus in my book. Great food and their employees were very nice and friendly. It was a great first-time experience!

Made a pit stop on the way to Winter Games. Some locals recommended I bring my two teen boys here. My sons ordered the bacon cheeseburger’s and I ordered the Lally burger. We were all blown away. We all agreed that these were the best burgers we have ever had. I also ordered the mashed potatoes and gravy and the chicken gravy was gravy I craved when I was pregnant and haven’t been able to find it since. 14 years. I am hoping to stop back in on the way home and will make it a regular stop whenever we travel to okoboji. Honestly it’s worth the hour and a half drive from where I live. Amazing under describes it. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us.

Good food for the price. please understand that I am based on price, service and food quality. my bbq pork was over. I expect they were left out of lunch and sat on the grill too long. they had to serve them to save costs they could not throw away. oh and too many people rate everything 5 stars and that is not realistic. have a great day.
