La Maisonnette - Le Mans

Really lovely, attentive staff who took care to give us everything we wanted and accepted our special requests without question. Food was delicious. Clearly a very popular restaurant and well deserved (I am bemused by some of the negative reviews on here! Glad I took no notice).

Went with two friends late one evening. The place was busy, but not full. Service was mostly efficient, the food was good, prices were reasonable, and so on. So, nothing exceptional, but I would be perfectly happy to go back. Take a look at my photos!

Located in the old town, this restaurant is open on Monday. Food was good, but not exceptional. Service was friendly, but also not exceptional.

Lovely meal on the terrace. Excellent food, excellent value. Found it by chance and took a chance as it was almost empty. Full when we left!

During a short stay in Le Mans earlier this year we ate here twice. The menu is somewhat restricted but if you like what's on offer you'll find the food more than satisfactory. The staff are very friendly and speak English. Wine is not cheap and only a small selection is available by the glass.Overall we enjoyed are meals here and the standard is well above the other offerings in Vieux Mans. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.
