Wa - Lawrence

That wa is my favorite sushi restaurant, since I was introduced into sushi over 15 years ago. although it has long been thanks to the pandemic my man went, although reviews are currently negatiw. do not listen to the negative reviews. The food was delicious! the only thing I was sad was that the French roll is no longer on the menu.

Best sushi in lawrence! the chef seems very traditional and old. excellent menu options, many options. I have been several times and is consistently great. the personal is attentive. well furnished. clean. a great place for lunch or dinner. try the jayhawk roll. tempura is also excellent.

Very elegant inside, they even have a chipstick collection! there are some limited seats in the open as well. the best sushi. so fresh and so delicious! I had the drachenrolle, my daughter had a California role, eier roles, and we shared a series of tempoura calimari. our server was very attentive, eating was very fast and very cheap, no wait to get one, and open Easter Sunday. totally fabulous, 10/10

Unfortunately the owner has recently gone to rest and they have closed. it was one of our visits for our family of owners wa japanese restaurant for all our estimated customers, wa japanese restaurant has closed its doors after over 10 years. it was a real joy to serve the community, but now we are ready for rest. many thanks for their love and support for over 10 years and what our Japanese restaurant has made so great success. best wishes, yun and seung koh

I loved this place. The atmosphere is relaxing, the service was excellent, and I had the best salmon skin roll I've eaten in 20 years. They have a nice selection of sake, we had two bottles, and they were both presented beautifully as well as being delicious. The rest of the meal was equally good, and I will be coming back whenever I'm in Lawrence.
