Mass Street Soda Sweets - Lawrence

I've been here with my friends and there definitely is a variety of things to buy! You'd never get bored with all of their soda selections and there's a lot of candy you might've never tried. There's also seats right next to the entrance which is nice if your feet hurt from walking a lot. They have taffy too and a pound (around 60 pieces) goes for $7 and that sounds fair! I've never tried a lot of their flavors of taffy, but I have tried one. I'd come back to try a lot more things here!

This place is gonna become a core memory of my childhood I swear.First of all, it’s right next to the best icecream shop in Lawrence (which you should also check out by the way) so you are able to pick your treat if your ever around there.Second of all, there’s so many sodas from all around the country and even outside the country! From the classics like Pepsi and Coke, to more interesting flavors like Chocolate and Peach!And if that’s not your style, you can also have some energy drinks, diet drinks, and the most absurd flavors possible, if you didn’t find anything of your liking you’d be the first.And it’s not just sodas in their shop, as it says, there’s a lot of assorted sweets and treats that you can find! I’m personally a big fan of the choose your own taffy area, it brings back memories for me.Third of all, they have some pretty good deals, like this might not be as big as the others but you can save big money by buying certain milestones of soda, and they come with they’re own little cardboard crates with words on them!And last but definitely not least is the atmosphere of the area, the wooden floors and shelves with simple painted on labels for flavors give it a cozy vibe, while behind it all you have antique soda artifacts and merchandise for Kansas, giving it a nostalgic vibe.Another thing that contributes to atmosphere is the people who work their, they’re pretty friendly people and I appreciate them for working their and keeping the place afloat.As a massive soda fan, Im glad we have this store in Lawrence!

Love their selection ? Pricey but worth it because of what you can find here, and nowhere else

Great place to get a Soda or nostalgic candies from days gone by. If you're a Root Beer fan good luck there much be over a hundred varieties to choose from.
