Personally, I love the “choose your own taffy” section; it brings back wonderful memories for me. Additionally, they offer some great deals. While it may not be as large as some other places, you can save a lot by purchasing certain milestones of soda, which even come with their own little cardboard crates featuring fun sayings! Last but certainly not least is the atmosphere. The wooden floors and shelves with simply painted labels for flavors create a cozy vibe. In the background, you’ll find antique soda memorabilia and merchandise from Kansas, adding a nostalgic touch. Another highlight of the atmosphere is the staff; they are incredibly friendly, and I genuinely appreciate their hard work in keeping this place thriving. As a huge soda enthusiast, I’m really glad to have this store in Lawrence!

I recently visited this place with my friends, and I was impressed by the wide variety of items available for purchase. With so many soda options, you’ll never get bored, and there’s an assortment of candy that you may not have encountered before. There are also seating options right by the entrance, which is perfect if your feet are sore from walking. They offer taffy, and at $7 per pound (approximately 60 pieces), that seems like a great deal! While I haven't sampled many of their taffy flavors, I did try one and enjoyed it. I definitely plan to return to explore even more of their offerings!

I've been coming here for years and I absolutely love it! I always make the trip from Kansas City to visit the original location!

God gave us a taste of heaven when making this. Needs dr pepper bottled though. Wonderworks in branson is bad.
