Mad Greek Restaurant - Lawrence

It was restaurant week, so we had the three course lunch special, a Greek salat, souvlaki teller and rolled baklava, also had the gyro plate, it was really good. the place is clean and really cozy. the waiter was friendly and very attentive. in any case will come again. make sure they bring the change for the parking counter.

Surprised, it took so long to try this place. one of the best meals I've ever had. absolutely the best vegetarian selection in lawrence. even the dessert was incredible, especially the tiramisu.

Delicious food with beautiful patio service. the huh fatuccine alfredo has speck when someone is concerned about it. we had a baba ghanoush appetizer that was nice. a lot of vegetarian options that can be found by typical falafel or salat. I had a Greek grilled cheese with honey scaboo. I think it should have garlic aïoli, but the honey mustard sauce was better.

10/10 on the ambiente. well done! we had to try their famous flaming cheese and we were not disappointed. try her tiramisu. it's amazing!

The Mad Greek introduced me to Greek Foods and I’ve been hooked ever since coming here back years ago I think my buddy Chad brought me there first in 2017. Beautiful restaurant, love the artwork and the music they play lots of traditional and modern Greek music. Meals range in price depending on what you get. But all fairly priced, at least in my opinion and I do DoorDash and Instacart for a living. The restaurant itself is just so magnificent that while you’re eating you’ll find yourself gazing at all the artwork and just enjoying your authentic Greek cuisine! I usually get the Mad Greek Combo which for beginners of Greek culture it’s an essential. You get a little taste of all the best they got! Tis’ why it’s named “Mad Greek Combo” the meal is $15.99 BUT it’s a FULL PLATE WORTH! Absolutely worth it! Sometimes a little pricey is just because it’s so damn good! (I’m a $1 $5 menu guy at most places But I love this place and all the waiters and waitresses (everyone who works there are friendly, serve ya well, offer refills and overall do a damn good job of keeping the authentic feel of the restaurant pristine! Their Bier is damn good too!
