Conroy's Pub - Lawrence

We were looking for a new place in the city to eat on Saturday at lunchtime and ended up in the conroy’s pub. does not look like much from outside, but we were pleasantly surprised with our experience. bartender served us and was very friendly and gave us suggestions on the menu. I tried to reuben the california and was not disappointed! it has the perfect amount of spicy jalapeños and was very tasteful! my man had the fish that was also delicious. will definitely be over again!

Had a group in for an afternoon of lunch and bridge. Service was pleasant and helpful. Food was good including several salads in the group that looked delicious and satisfying. My Philly sandwich was tasty...a little much bread, but the stuff inside was GOOD and filling!! I would definitely go back again.

We enjoyed this spot and the bartender. The lower rating is because we ordered wings but two were missing. Huh?

It was ok, it's a neighborhood bar, I went for a friend's birthday party playing board games. It's not a place if frequent often, maybe once in a blue moon. That night was also stand up comedy night, it was a Saturday. So if you got what it takes to make people laugh, then give it a shot; not clear on their drink prices but everything seems fairly priced, and they had a kitchen so they serve food, seems to close around 2 as well, food probably stop serving around 11.

The last two times I have been there they have been out of half the menu. The service has been pretty spotty 15 20 minutes to get a water, no one bothering to seat you, refills taking 45 minutes, the wrong food being brought out . The food is bland and dated. And a pub with such a limited beer list and then out of half the beer on a Friday... is really not a pub at all. This place doesn't know what it wants to be. It's not a dive, it feels like a place trying to survive while on its last thread. Seating is uncomfortable. Probably won't ever go back.
