Bigg's BBQ - Lawrence

I had ordered the burnt ends app, and it was very good and paired well with my **** Mary. The drink was very flavorful. For my entrée I ordered he chicken fried steak, and my side was fries and mac and cheese. We'll start with the sides. The Mac n cheese was ok. Cheese was thin and had some smoke flavor, and the noodles were cooked. I'd say you basic BBQ mac and cheese. The fries were very tasty and had a great seasoning on them. The CFS, however, was a bit of a letdown. When it came to the table, it looked like it was cooked well, and the exterior was nice and crispy. When I cut into the steak, though, the coating immediately fell off like it was not properly flowered and egg washed. Then I was just eating a steak that was not seasoned. The other disappointment, although the outside was cooked, the coating next to the steak had a raw taste, and it is probably why it was falling off the steak when cutting into it.

The onion rings are to die for. And unless you’re really hungry. Just order a half order. Portions of burnt ends was big enough that we needed a go box home after splitting it between two people. Portion sizes are excellent, food and service is also very good

It's nice to find a BBQ place with good food that serves big portions at good prices. Big menu and great atmosphere. 1st time there and I was surprised how nice it was in there.

I love this place. Everything I get is delicious and the staff is always friendly.

The best barbecue i have experienced! The burnt ends, brisket , with the sweet bbq sauce, and coleslaw, my favorites!
