Three of us had Sunday lunch here after a recommendation. I can only say it was the best experience for years. Greeted at the door in a friendly manner by the staff and asked if we wanted some pre-drinks at the bar before moving through to be seated. The atmosphere is really charming and they haven't tried to pack in as many diners as they can, it feels airy and not cramped. Service was prompt, the staff were exceptionally polite and attentive and the prices were sensible. The food that came out of the kitchen was hot and all arrived at once with three different dishes chosen. If I could give 6 stars for the food I would, a truly excellent experience and one that we'll be returning to again. Vegetarian options: There were a number of options available on the main and specials menu all of which changes frequently according the the staff so you shouldn't have a problem with future visits. Parking: There are a number of car parks in Lavenham not too far from the restaurant most of which are free.
