The Cock Horse Inn - Lavenham

Our first visit , but a very pleasant one. A couple of the menu items were not available, but our group of five all found enough to choose from.

Dog welcoming, very lovely staff and food is excellent.

As a potential new wellness business in Lavenham we came to visit to enjoy a local lunch. The service was good, food tasty and its great to see the village if thriving.

The restaurant was empty when we arrived so it felt a bit weird. Within the hour, tables filled but as it is a huge area, it still felt empty. Food was good but portions rather small. I feel the whole place is lacking any atmosphere and feels too large and bare. Some people like minimalist but it’s not for me.

Had a lovely meal. Food came out quick and tasted great. Good size portions. We went as a group with kids and nothing was too much trouble.
