Gravenberg - Langenfeld

Travelling to business and stayed at Hotel Gravenberg. Beautiful spacious rooms and the restaurant was great. Beautiful wine and beer selection and one of the best steaks I had in Europe.

The style of the restaurant is old fashioned in the best sense. Service is efficient but discreet. The choice of dishes is extensive with some very good value menus. There is a very attractive terrace given summer weather

Located on a main road with parking space. The restaurant is very clean. The waitresses wear nice clothes. Tables, decoration, paintings, heads of animals, ... give the restaurant an special romantic look. Menus in english are available. Waitresses speak limited English (do not ask complicated...stuff). The menu is typically German with some French and Italian touches. Portions are good (size-wise) and well served. I went for some beef dessert white beer. I was more than satisfied with the food. I really recommend this place.

Went with German family and friends, great meal and fantastic location. Even had a menu in english for those whose German is not as it should.
