The Eric Bartholomew - Lancaster

Typical Spoons. Downstairs is a bit scruffy and can be loutish. It is passable if you can manage to get one of the few booths. There is a more pleasant seating area upstairs and a very fitting tribute to Eric and Ern on the wall. Our curries were as expected. Considerably more expensive than last year and less for the money. The best thing, as usual, is being able to order from your table via the app.

Five of us sampled curry night at the Eric Bartholomew and agreed unanimously that it was a great experience. The place was buzzing, as usual, but the well prepared staff took it all in their stride. Service behind the bar and at the table was spot on and the curries were excellent. Standards are consistently high in this establishment, which is quite an achievement. To paraphrase Morecambe's greatest son, all the right notes and in the right order!

Spent a few days in Morecambe for my birthday, popped into the Eric Bartholomew for lunch. Nice meal. Quality drinks. Tables were not wiped down, we were left sitting at somebody else's slickly table.

Well once again I’m not surprised at the quality of the food and drink, which was superb value for money , and a great seaside atmosphere! The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be heading back the next time I’m in Morecambe

Busy when we walked in but found a table and ordered and was surprised how quickly the food arrived.Both had Smothered chicken which was up to usual Weatherspoons standard.
