Contribuiți la feedbackHonestly this place was great. My friend and I were going to head back to Banff for lunch, but it's a holiday and we knew it would be packed. We stumbled upon this restaurant coming down the Bow Valley Parkway. We had unfortunately dined at a lot of terrible restaurants and this was not one. I ordered the flatbread (the one with ham), and my friend ordered the souvlaki wrap. They were both wonderful. My flatbread had a lot of flavour even though I asked for no tomato and olives. The fries were very crispy. Would come back!
We were driving around and came upon this place. It is a lovely place. There was really no one there. We all ordered hamburgers with fries and they were tasty. I highly recommend this place. I plan to keep it on my list of places to maybe stay in the future. Cute cabins. Food was good and service was nice and fast. Worth your time and dollars. We would be happy to return.
Had an absolutely wonderful stay in a one bedroom loft with two of my friends! It was clean and cozy! We will be returning again and hopefully be able to check it out in the summer months as well. They were accommodating with our checking in early, and the wifi was pretty non existent but isn't that the point of disconnecting? We loved hearing the train in the distance as well!! This place is called Baker Creek Mountain Resort now too, so maybe this can be updated?
We left Lake Louise around 9pm and we're scrambling for a place to eat a late dinner. The Baker Creek restaurant seemed like our only option and it was so good! I splurged on the tenderloin which was about $50 Canadian, but it was well worth it. Came with carrots and mashed potatoes as well as a fruity red (cranberry? Beet? sauce that was delicious. The biscuits on the table were out of this world. Chris was our server and he was super cool.
Unfortunately I was disappointed in this restaurant experience. We were staying at the cabins and went to eat at the restaurant expecting a reasonable price point being that it was called a 'bistro ' and had two on Yelp. We were surprised to see a menu containing an average of 37 55 meals, and unfortunately we were super unhappy with the quality of the food. In a group of 5 every person felt that their meal was underwhelming for the cost, and the portions were very small fitting for a fine dining restaurant sure, but for guests of a cabin without anything else around for miles it was very disappointing to leave without full belly 's and having paid top dollar for ok food. I would probably give this restaurant a 2 rating, but putting a 1 so hopefully the overall yelp rating will reflect something closer to how we felt about our experience.
