Tommy's Red Hots - Lake in the Hills

I’ve been visiting this place since it opened, and while the food is still excellent, the service has really declined. Often, I receive only part of my order, and the employee at the drive-thru seemed completely uninterested—didn't greet me or wish me a good day, just looked miserable. The atmosphere inside is lacking; the walls are bare and uninviting. Unfortunately, I think this will be my last visit. I strongly recommend that you spend your money elsewhere, where you at least can expect to get your entire order.

I dropped by for an Italian Beef Sandwich, and I was once again not let down by the food! Everything I've tried here has been delicious. As for parking, there's plenty available right near the entrance—I could easily see my car from inside.

What can I say? The best Italians beef and gyros in Algonquin and Crystal Lake. Great service and meals.

Good location. My first time here. The food was hot and fresh. The service was quick and efficient. Ilthe atmosphere was cool and calm. Very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and the food tasted great. We will patronize this location again if in the area. Parking: They have a large lot to accommodate many vehicles. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp and easily accessible doors and tables.

Hot dog and fries were really good, but the atmosphere inside is terrible. Empty walls, dirty windows, complete silence. Not the kind of place you want to hang out and enjoy a meal…
