The Lucky Monk - South Barrington

Sat right next to a group of very young kids by themselves At first it was ok but then other friends came and pulled up chairs and about in our lap. The waitress was great and got us moved. That really lowered the class of the restaurant for me and experience

It appears that this restaurant is losing popularity. None of their own brewery's beers were available, and the others served were flat and warm, rather than cold enough. Something seems amiss. As regular patrons, this visit was disappointing.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is lovely. Our server, Ashley, was well-trained and truly went above and beyond to make our experience special.

Love The Lucky Monk, but service was rather slow last night.

I was disappointed with my dinner entree salad as it was missing key ingredients (avocado) and was only half the size it used to be. The rest of the food was decent.
