Starbucks - Lake Forest

One of my favorite places in the world. Seriously love it, love their baristas, the drinks, never a bad experience. Ever. I do not eat their food though, I am allergic to eggs. Which is in just about everything if it’s baked.

Super friendly even early in the am. This place makes the best Flat White Quad. It has never been bitter.

Friendly service at this Starbucks for my usual latte with oat milk. I also got an everything with avocado spread. The bagel was fresh and delicious.

The employees are nice here and the drinks are good. I can only give 3 stars because it’s not only incredibly small and it’s impossible to get a seat and do work as it’s a very social location where people meet to talk. Because it’s such a small location it’s extremely loud and nearly impossible to get anything done even with headphones and white noise playing. It’s much better in the warmer months when people are outside or not there because their kids are in school.

Rarely do I rant. After a cycle ride today I stopped by my local Starbucks and ordered a sandwich and a coffee. I went to pick up my items and asked for a cup of water and was told I needed to go stand back in line and order the free water. The barista told me she was too busy to handle . I watched two of them stand there for minutes doing nothing and the manager even told her to go on break. What happened to the service once famous at Starbucks? Time to ride out of my way for local coffee and better service. Rant over.
