El Ranchito Taco Shop - Lake Elsinore

I initially ordered takeout since it was our first visit to the restaurant. As a food critic, I began to evaluate the place, the staff, and the menu. The woman who took my order over the phone was very helpful, answering my questions about whether the pozole was made with pork or chicken and clarifying the ingredient used. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and organized the restaurant was and how warmly the lady greeted me with a smile. The food was absolutely perfect in terms of flavor and temperature, and above all, I could truly taste the homemade love, passion, pride, and seasoning that the cook had put into it. I will definitely return with my entire family to see if my first impressions hold up.

The food is consistently fantastic and mouthwatering! I absolutely love their menudo! I've been enjoying it since I was pregnant with my first child 17 years ago.

The food is just average, but the service is excellent. For $10.88, you can enjoy their lunch special from 12 to 3 PM.

The reviews about this restaurant being authentic are so true! After paying, we were given free chips while we waited. I will say the floutas and the rice were the stars of the show. They have 5 kinds of salsa, most of which are pretty spicy, and the Pico is so good! It looks like they expanded (not sure when), but it's a large restaurant with a lot of seating.

Great food, the Morning crew the Og ladies are awesome, but there is 1 cashier on the afternoon/evening shift that seems to pick and choose who she gives good customer service to. I've experienced her lack of customer service, and so has my son and his girlfriend. Other that that great place to hang out.
