Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Lake Elsinore

The ribs are delicious and tender, and I adore the spicy BBQ sauce along with the excellent service.

I placed an order in advance, but when I arrived at the restaurant I was informed that my order could not be fulfilled. They suggested I try to get a refund through the corporate number or online, but that was unsuccessful. After waiting for an hour, they still did not have all the items we ordered. The staff member was polite and tried to assist us, but we were only able to receive a cash refund for an item that was not available at this location. They were also out of BBQ sauce. This happened on a Saturday at around 3pm. As for the food, the ribs and chicken were dry, but the brisket and pulled pork were tasty. Unfortunately, both my wife and I felt unwell after eating here. This was my second time ordering from this restaurant and I will not be returning.

I placed an order for pickup through Dickey's website. I ordered a 3 meat plate with loaded baked potato casserole, baked beans, and extra toast. Unfortunately, what I received was a baked potato casserole that was lacking bacon, cheese, and onions, essentially just mashed up baked potato in a cup. The toast was also disappointing. I could have made my own toast for free at home. I will not be coming back to this restaurant, as I was disappointed with the quality of the food and service. Despite this, I still left a tip.

Boxed kraft Mac n cheese? Looks and taste like it : probably not coming back again. Save your appetite and go somewhere else :

Ordered through the app for this location on 09 02 23. Went to pick up order at 7:15pm and they were closed. I believe this location has closed permanently. No one around and all but one light turned off inside. Looks like they are out of business. Will have to dispute my credit card charge since the app is still accepting orders.Update they are open for business but decided they would just close early last night because they were slow . I asked for a refund as their website says refunds must be processed through the store location. I was told the owner (Rish Oberio) does not allow employees to do refunds . Horrible service, not even an apology for screwing their customer over and then won 't even refund the money. Steer clear of this crappy business!!!Update 09 04 23 corporate emailed they could not would not help me and I would have to get help from the franchisee that already told me they don 't do refunds. What a crock. So I guess the Dickey 's business model is to screw a regular customer over for $37. I guess we can all see why the franchisees are closing doors right and left. DO NOT EAT AT ANY OF THEIR RESTAURANTS!!! Buyer beware!!
