Riverside Inn - Lake Cowichan

The place is huge, but unfortunately, the food quality is lacking. The bartender seemed inexperienced, and the atmosphere was unwelcoming, with some unfriendly locals around. I understand that a local pub might lower their standards for appetizers (I’ve attached a picture of the nachos I ordered), but this was just unacceptable in terms of basic food quality. The bartender struggled to pour a decent beer, having to fill the glass five times before finally getting it right. Sadly, there aren’t many dining options in the area, but I urge you to seek alternatives. Consider yourself warned!

Great location, and the rooms were very clean and new looking. the bed was very comfortable. the restaurant had excellent eating and service. we were there for an event and the manager of the restaurant was simply beautiful so that the staff was organized and everything went smoothly. I cannot recommend this place enough!

This place is a hidden gem great customer service and the food was excellent. Can't wait to return

The hotel is very nice and comfortable. The only drawback is that the bar can be quite noisy, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. However, the bar offers delicious food and a lively atmosphere, with plenty of interesting locals.

This place is terrible. They charged me $18 for two pancakes, two eggs, and one slice of bacon.
