Jakes At The Lake - Lake Cowichan

I’ve consistently had excellent food and service at Jake's at the Lake. We've visited several times and often brought our adult children along (though kids are welcome too). Every meal has been enjoyable, and everyone has praised their choices. They offer a variety of local craft beers and fantastic daily specials, typically priced at $10. Plus, seniors (55+) can enjoy 25% off all food on Mondays. I recommend waiting to be seated, as some don’t, but we always do and have received great service as a result.

I had an incredible experience! The beautiful patio offers a lovely view of the water. I visited on a Sunday, and it was quite busy, but our server was friendly and attentive. Despite the rush, she took the time to share some jokes with us. She expertly managed our table of ten. I believe her name was Jen. The food was delicious, and the beer was fantastic! They brew their own beer, and it was really enjoyable. I will definitely return the next time I'm at the lake.

The combination of the main nativity and the local camp is fantastic. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the view of Cowichan Lake is stunning. The lava cake is delicious! I give it a 5 out of 5.

Delicious food and welcoming service! The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you receive. There are several vegan options on the menu. I highly recommend trying the mango coconut curry bowl with fried tofu!
