It was like going back in time to when I was a kid, when I walked through the door of Kens. The smell hit me and I was transported back. I live in the big city these days. So it was a breath of fresh air to find this place and to be taken back. The food was delicious and the service was as well. I got the sliced pork sandwich with bbq beans. Both were very good. I love to mix the hot hot bbq sauce with the sweet and original sauce. Go for all three flavors at once. BBQ beans were very good, not the best I’ve had. But they were still very good. Price was to be expected. Right in the middle. But I was willing to pay it for the whole experience that kens doesn’t even know they gave me. With the kick back time when I walked in the door, flavor of the food being good, to the service being well liked, can’t forget about the ambience of a small hometown feel. This place had it all. But you have to experience it yourself.
