China One - Lake Charles

My first time here, and I will be back to this restaurant. We had the Dragon and Phoenix fish along with Singapore Mei Fun, eggrolls, and House Special Fried Rice. This was enough for three to four people, depending on how much one eats. All dishes looked and tasted very well, and the egg rolls were good, though of the standard served in other restaurants, but there some out there that are pretty bad. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Ask for the chili oil, it's very good. And skip the buffet restaurants, this is much better...cost more, but much better.

Horrible service. I bought chicken and rice and half of the rice was gone and there was no chicken. Lady was so rude about it and made me pay even after I showed her proof saying I bought it.

Yesterday I bought two vegetable fried rice, two chicken fried rice and one special fried rice (some of them billed separately). One of the vegetable fried rice had a coackroach and that detered all my friends from eating it too. This is extremely unhealthy and I have never been so disappointed before in any restaurant.

Love China One, the food is excellent, the best Chinese food in Lake Charles.... they give you great portions and if you are before 3:00 the combo plate is only 3.75 it is wonderful. Fried rice is excellent, Egg Roll comes with the duck it is wonderful I get the chicken vegetables with Brown Sauce. It is always freshly cooked... clean, service super. Nice people... was almost two times. Month for a year or when it is open... They won't be disappointed.

I come here about every week, the food is fantastic and the owners are the sweetest. While I order the same thing every time and love it, everyone I bring here orders sometimes different and loves it too. Always hot and fresh when you get your order and doesn’t take long at all. 100% recommend as the best take out Chinese place in town. Super high quality
