Laesoe Spisehus

I have been a frequent visitor to Denmark for the past thirty years or more. Sunday 3rd June 2018 I ate at this establishment and ordered the stjerneskud. A bit pricey but a favourite dish of mine when prepared and served beautifully as only Danes can. This was not one of those occasions however. The food was bland, of meagre portions and lacking any imagination in presentation. In size and appearance, it mirrored exactly the same offering available from a well-known Danish supermarket shelf for around 22Dkr; save for a couple of green leaves poking out from under a soggy piece of bread. Avoid if you possibly can.

Overpriced, low quality and indifferent service. We (3 mature men) ate at Læsø Spisehus for lunch on Sunday 3rd June 2018. Two of us had the Pariserbøf (148 kr) and the other had the Stjerneskud (148 kr). The Pariserbøf was a small portion of beef, and not as decoratively arranged as we would have expected and have experienced elsewhere. The Stjerneskud was mainly two pieces of, very likely, deep fried plaice no steamed plaice with a couple of pieces of lettuce the like of which I've never before seen served in a Danish restaurant in 21 years. About 110 kr per item would have been a reasonable price. And, the table service was only luke warm. The experience put a damper on our day on Læsø, and probably contributed to one of us abandoning plans to make a longer cycling trip to the island.

Super cozy and very welcoming dining place. Sweet service staff with good mood even though there was completely full. Child-portions were big with adequate pommes freely. Tapas was all good from the sea, with crabs, virgin lobsters, minicroissant with prawns, free charcoal, sausages, smoked pigs in mini roll, craterU sausage,dry cheese, passion foam with white chocolate. Delicious bread, especially rye bread. Byrumgård juice was high class. Long experience.

Super delicious food we got their burger, no doubt the best burger I have long. Good view, right on the bus, nice rooms and clean nice toilets. Not any persuasive service, so therefore no drink today. Still 5 stars from here. That's what's

Restaurant “Readø Spisehus” makes good food. The speciality is fishing free kayaks. Generally, the food is very good. The server and the staff are friendly, attentive and serves with a smile.
